I have never actually been at a circus (or anywhere for that matter) where someone has stood on a box and drawn a crowd (I'm going to call it 'crowd drawin'). I'm pretty sure crowd drawin' was a pre-radio sort of thing.

You'd be walking down the street dodging stagecoaches and you'd see a crazy person on a box shouting news (Ye olde pop-up ad). You could either stay and listen or go home and knit a scarf.

Modern crowd drawin' is the homeless guy on your corner trying to tell you that his cat is God.

But I digress...

Today is update day...and you know what that means? You should email all the people in your contacts list about this comic! Or maybe you can go out in the street and try some crowd drawin' of your own!

Don't worry, I've already thought of a few opening lines for you:

(Classic Approach)
"Hear ye, Hear ye. Dreamstruck hath updated!"

(Mad Men Approach)
"Hey there, fella! Are you the kind of guy who enjoys the finer things? Do you like a drink before, with, and after breakfast? Is smoking less of a problem and more of a hobby? Well, you're in luck! Dreamstruck is straight out of the funny papers and into your house for free! Tell the little lady; she'll love it!"

(Modern Approach)
Go to a busy shopping center. Get naked and light your hair on fire. Jump up and down and throw marshmallows at everybody you see. If you're able to get anybody to look up from their phone to ask what you're doing please tell them about Dreamstruck.

Get them to look up from their cell phones??? I think that might be asking too much.

Perhaps. I once sat on a train next to a guy for twelve hours who was on his phone for eleven hours. He slept on the twelth hour and then rose again from his sleep to get off the train.

Just wait until noise exceeds signal and the power stops!
