Be serious, everyone; how many times has this happened to you?

Also, Happy Friday! If every week were a year, then Friday would be all the holidays*.

*I wouldn't check the math on that one. One day would equal, roughly, 52 holidays. Annually, we observe around 33...and that's including Flag Day. Let's get serious; Flag Day is barely a day, let alone a holiday. I'm pretty sure more people know about Talk-Like-A-Pirate Day than Flag Day. Sorry for the digression, but these are things you should know about.

I think America has a LOT more of these days.
I remember on the Simpsons the major would always declare it 'this thing day' and because at the time I was unaware of American culture, I found it hilarious and mad.
Then I found out that America really does make many strange holidays. xD

So many holidays! America is like an elementary school teacher; they're just trying to get excited about everything so the class (i.e. the national populous) will stay interested.

Also, there is a National Eggs Benedict Day (April 16th). Put it on your calendar.

National Eggs Benedict Day? Why was I not informed? Good god if it weren't for webcomics I'd never find out anything!
